When it comes to help others affected by leukemia, you can do many things that are not involved in donating money from your own pocket. Let us be frank, some of us just not much money to donate. But do not let that deter you from helping if you wish to do.

1. Donate to Charities For Leukemia Research - The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are two places where you can donate money that you raise fund to RAISER. 2. Donate Blood and / or platelets - Cancer patients undergo blood and platelet transfusions due to
the effects of chemotherapy. Donating your blood and / or platelets is a precious gift that you can only give a little time.

3. Donate Hair - If your hair long enough you can cut and donate to organizations that
make wigs for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. Hair loss may have
an emotional impact on cancer patients and a wig made from real hair can help make
feel better about their appearance.

4. Relay For Life - This is an event organized by the American Cancer Society. You can use the form
a team and help raise money through fundraising. Joining the event will also show
your support for those affected by cancer. Fundraising and the formation of a team again will take time
and organizational skills.

5. Send Cards - Another way to the lives of people affected by cancer is by sending cards
