Cancer affects us all. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 1.4 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed this year alone. In 2004 there were approximately 10.8 million people with a history of cancer. Last year, cancer is estimated to cost more than $ 200 billion dollars! Cancer affects us all, directly or indirectly.
Having one or more cancer runs in your area is the best way to participate in the fight against cancer and have fun at the same time. With your participation in this event cancer walk, you can help to increase funds for worthy causes and increase public awareness about the serious disease.
